Good idea for the ride this morn Mick, best day out on the KTM in 8 weeks.
No injuries, some new tracks for some of us, little dust & a bit'o'water. Cheer all that came. Pounce MicKal, Nice work. What an excellent ride! Great tracks, perfect conditions, very pleasant riding group, glad I was there. Thanks for getting us there MicKal and thanks for getting us back Pounce. No thanks to the sweep who tried to take me on a few tight corners. FTA Mikkal, Great call Sat for Sawyer ride. The rain Friday night was enough to have perfect riding conditions for late Oct. single tracks were great especially the new ones. Not a bad pace all day with a couple of get offs. I reviewed some of my Gopro last night and managed to capture HusqMike coming off on what could be best called a small stick on the track!! Trouble is 2 minutes later I captured myself coming off hitting huge rock and being speared off by a blackboy, oops sorry meant grass tree, need to make sure we are politically correct on this site. Thanks Pounce for leading back and Ross for sweep duties and Mikkal for leading out, well done. Hopefully the cool weather will last this week so we maybe able to get in a ride next weekend at Wokky. Thanks to HM, FTA, Richard, Pounce, Ross and Mikkal for great days ride. I will try and sort the Gopro footage this week. Cheers CM Gophers' day out. Players: Clean man,Mickkal, Pounce, WR Ross (who was supposed to be somewhere else - Nannup?)Richard, Fuel tanker Allen and Husq Mike. It was a day where a ride had to be called.Thanks to Mickkal for doing it. We started off on some single trail tracks tracks I have never been on , only heard about. It got the arms pumping a bit early for me.Good tracks though. Following mickkal in the tight stuff on that ktm free rider kept the heart pumping. It was the big Gopro clone try out .Well it lasted 5 or k's when a branch took it out.Had to wait until clean man's batteries went flat so I could borrow his bracket. Well, quality wise Uhhm , yeah it only cost $60. Anyway some great riding, a few offs by me, doing things I tell my daughter not to do.Rushing slippery angled logs.Richard had a nice off and will a purple left side.Forgot to ask what sort of tree he hit. Clean Man came to grief at the hands of an over zealous Hus Mike.I think that sneaky cut off will be stored and payback time will come to haunt me. Ross was having slow entry back into the game after hurting his back, so swept for us. Did not stop him trying push out poor old HusqMike occasionally. There were a few stacks , but Richard had hard evidence ,so gets SOTD. Jacko - get well you missed a good one. Thanks again all for a great ride.A good 100k's HM                  |
