Australia Day 2016
Australia Day - Ride On the best way to enjoy our national day!
Tommy called a ride to celebrate the beautiful place we call home and love to ride, he road, he lead, he bought the beer (For that we nominate him as our Aussie Crusty of the year, he's such a champ). MickKal came along for a sweet ride, and showed us a clean line, up some gnarly tracks, he made it to the top of a hill that made my bike steam, and others stutter. The trails were dreamy, moist with puddles laying in the ruts on the flats, it was cloudy most of the morning, and we enjoyed the sweet fresh feel of the breeze as we powered through the valley, "Summer too hot/dusty (my knickers are pink) to ride" PPPPFFFFTTTTT harden up - this is Australia, and it's Australia Day, life is perfect and it's a wicked way to spend the day. Tommy & MickKal did around 100Km's, and I ran out of fuel at 77Km's :( Made it home with donations from the crew who I owe Sorry guys - I must look at fixing that. Happy Australia Day Guys, we have so much to be so thankful & happy about, enjoy all it has too offer. Thank you guys for letting me enjoy a day out on the bike with you, it was a blast!      |
