Stack of the day Not awarded
Husq Mike called a ride on Friday to meet at the Rock Inn at 08:00 Saturday after all the rain we had during the week it was too good to pass up on. 6 riders turned up while we were waiting we saw lots of other guys heading out with bikes on utes and in trailers everyone was thinking the same thing NO DUST.
At the parking spot Mike said he would lead and Jacko would do sweep perfect for the rest of us to have fun in the middle while we are getting ready Stripperlegs notices fuel pouring out of his carby. Jacko pulls the carby out strips it fixes the problem and puts it back in all in about 5 mins.
So off we go with Mike leading the way first regroup and all is going well then he takes us down a new track even better he knows some new stuff happy days after a few ks he pulls up and is asking is it up this way or that way? We have a chat and some how we end up with a new lead rider for the rest of the day. So off we go again and its not long before we realise Mike was not lost at all he has just found a new way to get to some single tracks we use anyway well done. We have no particular plans or any destination just find a track and ride it to see were we end up lots of fallen trees to go around or over depending on your riding skills and how much time you have to stop. A few easy hills to play on some single tracks starting to get very overgrown so we do are bit to help keep them open. After some transport sections we come across another old track that is good fun this leads to a new single track that we just have to ride to see were it goes. We have done about 75ks now and start to think its time to head back to the cars we go up one track that we came down in the morning its funny how it feels completely different like a new one. The usual race along the last track back to the cars is always fun we all make it safe and sound. Ross and Mike get the beers out for the official debrief well done it wasn’t dusty at all but the beer was a good way to finish off another good day out.
Tommy

Mikes call.
Great day for a nice 100k ride.6 guys turned up on Sat, which was great.Tommy made a late call to join in,which was very handy cos I was not really sure where I end up. We nearly had 7 guys, but it was not to be this time.
By the way all those who laughed, I was not lost, I just turned off too early.
Tommy took over like a champ after my small error. For Tommy it was It was probably a bit like watching someone cook on your own BBQ.You would rather do it yourself. Thanks Tommy for making my life easier.
