Chainsaw's & Jarrah
Today I got wet, got cold, got muddy had a nice big hamburger for lunch. Saw a KTM chain saw that tried to ring bark a decent size Jarrah tree (rider came out ok Jarrah tree & KTM chain saw came out about equal both will live but with battle scars) watched a flat tyre get fixed, saw bikes getting picked up & got more wet from puddles on the way back. Couple of beers back at the cars good company what more could you ask for.
Cheers Darin for calling the ride. Mick 450 Cheers for the ride today, good fun and good bunch of blokes.Met a few of the faces i've only seen on message board over the years which is always good and did 180k's on bike which is good.cheers Darin,Tommy,Inver,Nathan,Cass,Mick and i think it was Ash See you on the next one Andy ktm Chainsaw's & Jarrah 8 of us in total, a perfect number. I said I was going to try different tracks to miss the whoops, we had some positives - great new tracks that are still in good shape - more exploring needed. Negatives - I got bloody lost - thanks to Tommy & Mick for getting me back on track. We started off doing a new 10km loop, not far from the parking spot, which was all tight single track (a few of my mates train for enduro's on it) It got the heart pumping but didn't take us any closer to our destination. Thanks to everyone for turning up, Tommy and Mick for sweeping, the usual laughs and enjoyment of being out with guys who enjoy dirt bikes. I was stuffed at the end, XR Cass must have been tired lugging the big girl around all day and doing a puncture repair. (including 2 stacks in the process of repairing the puncture) Darin Nice Lead Darin and Tommy/Mick sweeping. Few pics are up - will put short vid up soonish. Good tyre, tube, rim lock, correct pressure and quality rim/spokes but still no defence against a bloody 3inch nail ! XRCass https://youtu.be/rJ8e0wMfJmQ |
