Pub to pub ....to pub. And some tracks in between.
Cheers all (and Andy who is prob still driving home. ) The more you ride the more you find. Linked up some new sections today and noted some forest area worth a look later. Ktm 530 on a standard tank managed 117kms. No risk of running out when the other 3 bikes all carrying 16L each. Throw someone else up front on tracks you've ridden a dozen times and they'll find a different way. Pep took a few different turns when out front and suddenly we are on tight grippy sand,mud, dirt bush tracks that I had not ridden before. just enough space for 4th gear corners if you hung on. Sweet.
Cass An awesome (as always) and long 200+km ride today fellas on the OVT run (was just a tad over the 160 estimate........ an understatement to say I'm knackered.…cheers fellas :) Cass cheers for the lead! Pepe Cass promised Going to head north from ovt on Sat at 9.00. Pub lunch and back. About 100km each way. He also delivered every little bit. How Cass manages to push the XR well beyond the designers expectations and find 200kms of awesome tracks, with no gps and managed a pub lunch half way......... Beer in a bottle........brilliant!
