Day off Renovating - Woky Ride
Riders: DazzaM, KyronM, 2slow, Martyn, Pete450, Twoody, KTMShaun Had enough of renovating, so needed to go out for a blat on the bike. Called ride for Sunday and lucky enough to have 6 others rock up for the ride which was good. Was wanting to piece together some more single trail on a loop that we had been doing out Woky way. First section was pretty easy to piece together and thought it would have been longer so headed off to piece in another section that was a little bit backwards and forwards trying to find the entry and exit points. Managed to get it sorted. Having a few bikes there helped cutting in a few sections. Had a break after that section and then took off onto the regular track, KyronM decided to headbut a kangaroo (I didn't see it but apparently the roo one). No damage to rider or bike, wasn't long before we got going again to enjoy the perfect riding conditions the day offered. Made our way back to the cars where we had a lunch break and refuelled before hitting the hilly side of Woky. One particular hill certainly tested the fitness level with all of us suffering but I think KTMShaun came out on top of that one. Definitely needed a breather and a break after that one. From there on we did some good single trail through the pines where at times traction was at premium, and at others it wasn't. By this stage we could hear the cold beers at the cars calling out so it was more single trail and one last hill which was Bob's hill, and after completing that we went back to the cars.
