Sounds like you had a great ride today Wayno. Spewin I couln't make it (kids sat sport started again this week). My favourite area to ride down there. Was there much dust?

Found some new trails and linked a few together.
A good ride is planed but we have to wait for another Saturday like today.

Frustrated, are you the bloke that sent me a text this morning? If so, I'll get back to you when I get a chance. This isn't a job, it's all done voluntarily. I don't think anyone is riding tomorrow, I haven't seen any posts & there's nowt in the Events page.
Wayno, we don't add new guys anymore. If they want to participate they have to post their own message & choose their own name, but only if they're licensed & registered as you were riding on public roads. If it was on private property or at a ride park, they could have been added.
Nathan, good to see Acid didn't have to ride with you (he's an arse) & Deets made an appearance.
That was 3 rides today. A group of us went route planning up north. It wasn't going to be a called ride but it was so funny & such a good ride, it is now.

After being moved on by the Local Publican (out of the shade) the Three KTMS took off straight out to Pinjar riding area via Wesco Ride. After the whoops took out Nates numberplate the boys found some wicked new designated trails in riding area (including direction arrows, how brilliant is that!) Then the KTMS headed out to Yanchep via some unreal flowing and shaded single track that was really something special. Admin can u please do ya thing

Talking to scullman(AKA Chris De Berg)and Mick530 at work midweek and said..."what ya reckon, a bit of rain about, hows about a Woky ride" yer says scullman...yer says mick.So post up and get a few takers.Getting loaded up and Mick gets pinged for OT Saturday...hes not happy!
So, at the pub and 7 crusties are keen as.Head off to riding area and Harve is already there and asks "can me young bloke (Michael) and me mate Daz and his young bloke Luke tag along".Don't see why not so off we go...up to 10.Decided on a bit of variety so I thought we could do a few loops North of the road.Todd and Scullman ride that area more than me so I got Todd to lead.Very little dust and a few good uphills and interesting downhills heaps of enduro single track a cool breeze and every one was having a ball....Todd's arse is starting to give him gip...20Ks in I'm on my corner counting ..5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12...WTF...don't recognise those jerseys...Harve (who kindly volunteered to sweep)has managed to pick up a couple of stray Kato riders...can we tag along too....yer why not...so now we're 12.After about 40 ks on the North side we head back to the cars...a quick drink a splash of fuel then we remount...a whince from Toddy then were off, me leading Scotty66 sweeping.We keep moving at a good pace less stops with corner men strung out for miles.Fast track, hills, about 20 4wd stuck on hills, single track and were up to 105ks so far ...all hard ks... and all harder on Todds festering freckle...I'm shit out of water but still keen for some more good tracks on the way back to the cars,so we head off again on some good fast track...10 ks from the cars and I'm thinking should we just cruise back on transport section...hell no...that would be too easy on Todds delicate deriere...so we hook into some tight twisty hilly single track to finish off.Back at the cars the 2 blow ins Brett and Dave(who were damn good riders) thank the crusties for their hospitality and head off...no major offs...no flats...everybody rode really well..a few beers ...so what shall we call the ride.Toddy's moaning like a bitch ..so its "Todds sore arse ride".Then it starts ..."why's your arse so sore Toddy".I can't repeat what was said but when I was driving off I did here someone say ..."check out those Cab Sav grapes".

Ok Andy,take it easy.
Will Meet at ovt 12 noon, no beach work, quarry run and single track included. 60kms tops. Bring GPS if u have one( although false readings can occur East of wanneroo road (Pearce air base). 26 degrees. So cooler than sunday.Some of the ride will be under the pine trees.

Sorry Nathan, can't do an OVT this week. I'm heading out at some point to do some practice with the GPS, test my radaitor and shoulder in the dirt and regain some confidence before I lead another one, soon I hope.
If you know the area post up and I'm sure guys will come and follow with these ideal conditions. Also, Wayne has a ride down south.

Leaving Wokalup Hotel at 0745(Sat 4/2) sharp then drive out to park spot.Should be riding by 0830 hopefully this rain will keep the dust down.

Not confident in the radiator and to be truthful,not confident in the rider either. (The old black dog has raised its ugly head again). Won't be able to lead this weekend but may follow to get back the mojo back.
Will call one soon, got 100ks mapped out left over from the Splash and Dash (and Crash) plan.

Thinking of calling a ride, just waiting on a final test of the radiator. Should know by lunch time tomorrow. If anyone beats me to it thats fine. As you have pointed out Ash, good conditions so lets do something.

Buttsy called a Saturday ride with 42 deg forcast.And then there were 3. Had an early quick ride today. Buttsy, Trev200, Seano and a new guy Splat. Left at 0545 and were all set for a coolish 100 km run. Well all good plans do come undone, 20 km in Splat fell over, got up and started his 570 Berg, it ran for very short time and died not to run again. After the usual checks the tank was removed only to find one of the fuel pump wires broken off in the pump, a quick call to the wife who was ever happy to come fetch Splat we were on our way again. Not to much dust, it was a good paced ride out to the ocean all up 50 km away. After a short rest back on the bikes for the home run. Less than 100m on over the bars I went, no harm done and an event less run home. Back by 0915 and all was good.
