Lano - Cervantes.
12 riders met at the OVT and headed up to Lano to hit the trails. It was Col Mc, DRZ Peter, Pounces and Prezt first rides all the way to Cervantes and return.
Col lead the way and Peter and Roley rode swept and looked after DRZ Peter who says he has ridden rode bike for years but has only just thrown a leg on a dirt bike. Peter said he looked like a natural and kept a good pace the whole ride. DRZ Peter picks up ROTD. Not to be out done, his son Danny decided to high side it on the way up so we thought we would keep the awards in the family and give him SOTD. Cliff and Gaz were a little quiet today, happy to take their turn through the pack and mark the corners when required. Cliff did however perform an outstanding wheelstand on the beach but he - he is the wheelie king. Riding up front you miss out on most of the action but I did get chased by all the other guys at some stage. Pretz chased hard a few times and I had to open up the gas to make sure he didn't get too bored. Pounce was full of good humour with plenty of wise cracks. Watching Col Mc get out of his riding gear when we got back was a sight. He was completely stuffed and stuggling to get his pants off. Four hours on a bike takes it out of you when you haven't ridden for three months. I can't wait to hear what he has to say about sand!!!!!!!!!!  ON THE BEACH AT WEDGE ON THE WAY HOME.
