The Briefing
 Another perfect ride day at a secret location led by Grant. Ten Crusty Quinns including one new guy called Darren (aka DJ1) rocked up for a reasonably hard and intense ride on the narrow "goat" trails in the area and concentration was a must as the trails could easily spit you off. New guy  A 64 km loop was ably led by Grant who managed to find all the good stuff. Anyone who doesn't like tight, narrow and winding "goat" trails do not apply and go directly to a MX track or do circle work out at the Pines. The tight trails  Stack of the Day ("SOTD") goes to John525 for a pretty good stack but unfortunately the camera didn't come out fast enough. We do have some video on file of Grant launching up a rock and coming to grief but this CQ doesn't have enough nounce to put it on the site. We also kept seeing some Orange rubish flying about...  The goat trails went on forever and it was a good practice run for Capel next week. We didn't see much moisture out there and it was even dusty in a few places - climate change is real and it is here.  Rider of the day goes to Grant for leading a good ride and getting us all back safely - he did warn us about Kangaroos but without Howard with us there was nothing to attract them- LOL. |
