Ride Report for powerline run 16/9/06

Seven players turned up for what was to be a great day riding two new players showed up DJ and Dazza. We headed out at a reasonable pace over what was the rockiest, washed out trail (more than usual) which tested everyone's skills and arms, with most getting arm pump before the first road. We headed out to the creek at the end of the trail and followed the creek for a while then made our way to the Lakes roadhouse for a well earned drink and fuel stop. On the way back Pounce showed us a single track trail which was a good break from the normal track. We then conquered a ruttered out hill only to find that DJ had a flat back tyre which we filled with foam to no avail. On the way back to the main track we found another single trail (which we had to do), then made it back to the powerline trail to head back, this is were Daza picked up SOTD when he was getting back on his bike only to fall over on the other side which made everyone laugh it was a faster paced ride on the way back to the cars to finish off what was a great day. Grant was awarded ROTD for leading the guys on yet another great ride.
