Report by Col.
The group was booted up, the motors warm and everything was go Thunderbirds until Andrew pointed out to Col that his rear tyre was flat. A quick trip back into town to find some air and surprise, it was only a leaky valve.

The group had already voted on a Cervantes run instead of a Cataby run much to the dismay of Big Col who was keen to "get the flow" on those nice trails out towards the Brand Highway. Little Col wanted to save the Cataby run to pick up a bit of extra distance for the up and coming over nighter.

It was almost an incident free ride except of course for Choko who always managers something special. He has only knocked up 7 rides with the Crusty's but somehow has managed something unforgettable on each ride. Not to mention he is now on his 3rd bike as well. I think he has found what he was looking for now he is onboard the mighty DRZ. After a slow start to the day he found the rev limiter on the way home and Big Col reckons he might now fancy himself as the next Ricky Carmichael. He also picked up the SOTD award again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who would have guessed? Over the bars and a broken clutch lever.

Andrew bought one of his mates Quinton along for his first CQ ride and we had another new guy Rob who recently found the CQ web site and decided to join us. Both of these guys had huge smiles when we got back to the car. Roley did the job of sweep and due to Andrew's nomination picked up ROTD award. Andrew said that while the rest of us got a few rest while regrouping, Roley basically rode non stop as we took of as soon as he arrived at each stop.

You have to laugh at some of the antics that Andrea gets up to. At the lunch break at Cervantes he was seen trying to get amorous with a certain Husky. He said that as a small child living in Italy he would always get "excited" when he saw a Husky ride past. The next thing he got up to was his own wild flower tour. Roley said he pulled up next to him and asked was everything OK. Andrea simply said he was looking at the beautiful flowers. Back at the cars he was then over heard trying to swap Big Col's KTM for a chocolate cake. I think Col nearly accepted his offer.

A top days ride boys. Everyone home safe and bikes in one piece.
