Metro Road
Report by Col
13 riders came along for another fun filled event. John, a West Coast Safari sweep came along on his first CQ ride with his son Anthony as well as another new guy Paul. John is a very good rider with heaps of skill and can turn on the pace quickly with a few turns of the throttle. Mind you Anthony was well in contention for the prestigious SOTD after dropping his oldmans nice new 450 and incurring a bit of damage to his knee. Choko just can't help himself though and came off more times than a bull rider at a rodeo. Good on ya Choko - How many times of you had this award now? Not only did Choko keep putting it down but he also managed to break two break levers today as well as completely drowning the DRZ on a mud crossing. Thanks to John and his mechanical skills and a tow half way around Australia to get the bike going again. The rest of us just minded our own business and went about the ride in a leisurely fashion enjoying the bush, the almost cool temperature and what is left of spring. It was a gentle reminder just what summer is like out there. If we don't get too much more rain I can't see too many more rides out there this season. CHOKO'S BIKE WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT ENDED UP LOOKING THAT WAY. HOW DOES HE DO IT? REST SPOT REST SPOT REST SPOT REST SPOT |
