Report by Husq Mike.

The ride was organised by Frogger who seems to know the area pretty well.
We had a good number of guys already settled in by Friday night. Being sensible we had just a few beers (I did see Frogger with a red or three) and into bed.
Saturday morning came, and so did a massive downpour, unfortunately it must have all fallen on the caravan park.10 minutes down the track it was dusty.
Anyway ; nice easy tracks to start with. Then we hit a couple of puddles (see videos).Jackos DRZ which has a habit of getting skittish when sees water, decided to die. After a bit of draining and coaxing it fired into life and off we go. Somewhere amongst all of the trails was a 12k rally track .Good fun .Some of us probably riding faster than we should have been. Lots of overshooting of corners .I admit to two.
The KTM oil burner of Jordan sulked and died at the next river crossing and it took many supervisors to get it going.
Uneventful ride until lunch at a Quindaning Pub.
Great meal, colourful locals, a bit of a relax and fuel dump courtesy of Mal.
Ash learnt how to change a tyre .
Simon and Jordan left us at this stage to ride back alone
Very pleasant uneventful trail ride back until things went a bit wrong with the corner man system.Joynesy headed off wrong way towards Sydney, Lex stopped and Tenerod did not.The description I heard was that Lexs bike was sitting upside down on top of him.Fortunately Lex had got himself some good knee armour and ended up with only a minor limp.Joynesy came to a dead end before Sydney and turned around, so all was well .
A short play in the hills and we were off back to the camp, where Mal and the crew had already started preparing the evening meal.
A few guys unfortunately had to leave. They missed out on a magic next day.
Ash was still having tyre problems. It was not helped that no crusty had tube repair glue.Unbelievable!
Luckily Frogger had the solution in hand so another repair job complete.
The desert with whipped cream does deserve a mention.
Although, given the time it took to whip the cream , I would say there is some hand practice needed here.
Saturday evening brought the bike riders wet dream; it poured down for several hours.
Another early night roughing it (well not many roughed it).Next morning We were joined by Alec (son of Frogger) .
From memory Ash was still playing with his tyre. Fixed for good this time.
Mick 450 with his acute sense of direction headed us to the hills area again, while Alex and WR Mike followed the ute to the hills.
All I can say here, is that it was a magnificent ride, in great wet loamy country with a bunch of guys that all knew how to ride together. Some great up and down hills , not too serious but good fun.
We all chickened out on one granite hill, which I think we must meet again one day.
Everyone had a bash a leading. Ross got sacked , but I am not sure why.
About 11 ish It was time to return to base, so we head in the general direction.Mick spotted an interesting single trail off to the right, so we forgot about going home.It was a magic track which took us back anyway.

I have nominated Frogger for ROTD for putting in the effort to prepare the ride and also managing to wield the massive DR650 through the tracks.Dennis needs a superhuman mention for riding all the way up to the event then sweeping on something that must weigh half a ton.
