Ride report for last weekend, big thanks to everyone that attended allens ride

This ride had everything and more sand (wet), Hills, ridges, wooded trails, whoops and even some small puddles towards the end with all the lovely rain we encountered. Starting off from the OVT at 8.30 with a group of eight riders with one new rider (Chris) on his two stroke KTM, the plan was to head inland from OVT on an adventure ride covering old and whatever new stuff Alan could find. The first talking point of which there were many was a small hill climb in the first quarry, Tiny had two attempts at this and made it on the second one which he seemed more than happy with.

The ride continued north through some wooded areas into some virgin bush and into some Sandy whoops at this point Allen thought it would be a good idea to introduce the new guy (Chris) and his two stroke to a big hill just east of Two Rocks (I think) H was first to attempt the hill after first removing some wire at the bottom which promptly stopped that attempt, he made it three quarters of the way up, good effort, this prompted Chris into his initiation and what a valiant effort it was never giving up Chris made it to the top on his fifth attempt (fantastic) at which point Easty also made it to the top on his second attempt, mean while Tiny and one or two others stood at the bottom in awe of the skills it takes to ride up this what to me looked like a mountain.

The hill finished we moved on over some flowing sand tracks to the fueling point. The rain really started to come down at this point, we headed off towards the ridge a another hill climb followed by a short detour when Tiny got carried away on a track (got lost really) and back to the OVT for a beer.

One word sums this ride up for me “awesome” big thanks to Allen and H for sweep, happy days see you next weekend.
